GMAIL

• Initially realeased in March 21, 2004


• Owned by Google


• G-mail has 1gb of storage


• The Gmail interface currently supports 40 languages


• All incoming and outgoing e-mails are automatically scanned for viruses in e-mail attachments


• Gmail has recently also become available as a downloadable application for gaming devices such as Nintendo Wii, PSP, PS3, Nintendo DS.

YAHOO MAIL

• Initially realeased in October 8,1997


• Owned by yahoo!


• Yahoo mail has storage space of 10MB/5GB


• Yahoo is available in 27 different languages


• Has protection against spam and viruses.
